Description

Hydrosols are the exciting new branch of aromatherapy for the 21st century with many applications for beauty and medical care. They are produced by steam distillation from fresh organic plants.

The term literally means water solution from hydro meaning water, and sol meaning solution.

Man has been distilling plants for their essential oils and distillate water (hydrosols) for thousands of years. The oldest alembic still that has been discovered is almost 4000 years old.

Hydrosols can be used on your skin as a facial mists or internally as a part of your drink or cocktails.

Hydrosols are a wonderful adjunct to use in all types of energy work. Because they came from plant material, they contain information about the rhythms and patterns of the planet as well as the plant.

Hydrosols are much safer than essential oils and can be used on babies. They are similar to essential oils but in far less of a concertation.
